Tele-medicine is the ability to see a medical professional remotely over great distances and will be demonstrated live at the opening ceremony, using the latest in Voice and Video over Internet Protocol technology.

Qi Gong (pronounced "chee gong") is a form of Chinese exercise which encompasses a whole lifestyle of training and practice, both mentally and physically. "Qi" means air, breath of life or vital essence. "Gong" means work, self-discipline, achievement or mastery. Put them together and you have the form of physical training and thinking which combines aerobics, isometrics, isotonics, meditation and relaxation known as Qi Gong. Qi Gong has been used to heal everything from arthritis, Cancer, diabetes, liver disease even Parkinson's disease.

Qi Gong Master Dr. Ben Wu, a Chinese Medicine Doctor, will be performing his ancient art live, creating numerous photo opportunities for the press. Backed by over 25 years of experiences, Dr. Wu has served as both a clinical supervisor and a teacher of Qi Gong in China, Japan, Germany, Austria and Canada. Pearl Oriental Cyberforce Limited announces on 6 January 2000 its acquisition of 70% interest in HealthPhone.com, a medical and health portal based in America and Canada. Pearl Oriental Cyberforce planned to invest US$20,000,000 to expand the business of HealthPhone.com in the North America region and healthcyber.com, the joint venture with China Sanjiu Group. The two health websites will be restructured to form the world's most important medical portal enterprise. It is also planned to arrange for listing on the NASDAQ in the United States or on the Growth Enterprise Market in Hong Kong at the appropriate time.

Mr. Li Kam Wing, a former Telecom Controller at the Hong Kong Police Department, founded HealthPhone.com in the North America Region.
