Preceded
menstrual cycle or profuse menstruation which is bright or dark
red, thick and sticky, accompanied with irritability and dry mouth,
yellowish urine, constipation, red tongue with yellow fur, rapid
pulse.

Moutan bark (Dan Pi) 9g, wolfberry bark (Di Gu Pi)15g, white peony
root (Bai Shao)9g, dried rehmannia root (Sheng Di)9g, sweet wormwood
(Qing Hao)6g, phellodendron bark (Huang Bai)3g, motherwort (Yi Mu
Cao)15g, raw sanguisorba root (Sheng Di Yu)15g.
