Heat

Abnormal
heavy bleeding with the blood being bright, thick and sticky, accompanied
with tidal fever, thin and yellow fur of the tongue, thready and
rapid pulse.

and arresting bleeding to regulate menstruation.
Prescription/Formula:
Dried rehmannia root 9g sheng di Scutellaria root 9g huang qin Phellodendron
bark 9g huang bai donkey-hide gelatin 9g a jiao glossy privet fruit
12g niu zhen zi motherwort 15g yi mu cao eclipta 12g han lian cao
white peony 9g bai shau Chinese yam 9g shan yao hairy vein agrimony
30g xian he cao.

Therapeutic principle: By using acupuncture you can nourish
the Yin, clear the heat and arrest the bleeding

rhizome 9g sheng ma Chinese yam 15g shan yao cuttle-bone 9g wu zei
gu baked ginger 9g pao jiang motherwort 15g yi mu cao.

by doing the channels of Ren, Foot-tai-yin and shao-yin.
