Overview and Causes|
Blood lipids
(fat in blood) are composed of cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid
and free fatty acid. Hyperlipidemia is the presence of excess fat
in the blood and it mainly implies the elevations of cholesterol
and triglyceride in the plasma and is closely related to atherosclerosis
(degenerative disease of arteries with fatty deposition on inner
walls leading to blocked arteries). As blood lipids are transported
in the form of lipoprotein (fat with proteins), hyperlipidemia also
manifests as hyperlipoproteinemia. |
2. Symptoms|
(a)
The diagnosis of this disease is based on determination of the amount
of cholesterol and triglyceride in the plasma.

(a) Qigong and other therapies

It improves the flow of the qi and the circulation of the blood, so you'll experience more energy, but, you won't see/ feel any immediate effects, as with many exercises and therapies, it takes a few weeks or even months of practice before you'll see any significant improvements. (b) Medicated diet 1) Take the lower stem of celery (about 10cm) 20 stalks, clean them and add 500ml water to them, decoct until the quantity of water is reduced to 200ml. Drink it on an empty stomach. 2) Stir-fry or cook onion with seasoning. Eat 100g a day. 3) Hawthorn Fruit (Shanzha) 10g, Chrysanthemum (Juhua) 10g, decoct them to make tea and drink it every day.
