About E-Tech Canada's Founder: Paul Li E-Tech Canada was founded by Paul Li. The telecommunications expert from Hong Kong left his home country with his family towards a new land and a new future. He found that future in Canada, when he immigrated to the second largest nation in the world, in 1993. A year later, Mr. Li founded E-Tech Canada with the goal of contributing his expertise and experiences to his new community through improving humanity with technology. For the past five years, Mr. Li worked diligently to develop the business, while always striving towards his goal. His hard work paid off, E-Tech Canada has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. Originally, the company had only one staff member. Today, E-Tech Canada has 14 employees and has plans to expand to 35 full-time employees, by the end of 2000. Mr. Li's story is a true Canadian success. He saw an opportunity in the healthcare sector and used the power of Internet technology to enhance that opportunity. Mr. Li's enhancements sparked the interest of major investors - E-Tech Canada recently became a member of the Pearl Oriental Group, a publicly traded company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Mr. Li envisions a global healthcare community which will provide universal access to healthcare information and resources such as tele-medicine, without the constraints of time, culture, country or distance. |
